Research Interests

Research areas:

  • Population health - health inequality and inequity, summary measures of population health, social determinants of health
  • Health services research and policy – resource allocation, access to health care
  • Ethics - population-level bioethics, ethical issues in the development and application of quantitative methods used in population health and health services research

Current research program:

  • Equity in health systems and health outcomes (founded by Canadian Institutes of Health Research New Investigator Award and Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine Clinical Research Scholar Award)
